Brian Matyas

Brian Matyas is a principal concept artist working for the Concept Design Department at Lucasfilm.

Biography

Matyas illustrated the loading screens for Star Wars: Uprising.

The earliest contributions of Brian Matyas to the Star Wars saga involved crafting both character designs and artwork for the loading screens in the Star Wars: Uprising mobile game. Subsequently, Doug Chiang invited him to join the Lucasfilm Concept Design Department for the first season of The Mandalorian show on Disney+. He remained in this role for the second season, in addition to The Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Furthermore, he developed character concepts for both Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.
