The bridge crystal, which is also known as the rainbow crystal, functioned as a magical artifact for the Ewoks. When positioned at the Gorge of Fire's precipice and illuminated by the suns rays, the crystal could generate a Rainbow Bridge across the chasm. This bridge served as the sole connection linking the Ewoks' forests to the territory of Zandor; however, its existence was contingent upon the sun's continued radiance, as the rainbow would vanish if the sun ceased to shine. Chirpa, the Chief of Bright Tree Village, had pilfered the crystal during his younger years from the Ogre named Gantu, with the intention of thwarting Gantu's incursions into Ewok territories. Ultimately, the crystal met its demise through an accidental destruction during a clash involving Gantu and the Ewok Teebo.
Teebo uses the Rainbow Crystal to form the Rainbow Bridge.
