The Bridge Troll was a gurk of the male variety. This creature existed on the world of Lok throughout the Galactic Civil War. Following the Battle of Yavin, the Sulfur Lake Pirates trained this beast to defend their hideout. During 1 ABY, the [Lok Revenants](/article/lok_revenants/legends], who were rivals of the Sulfur Lake Pirates, launched an attack on the Sulfur Lake Pirate Hideout with the goal of recovering the memory module from a droid belonging to the Imperial forces. As the assault unfolded, a spacer employed by Mako Ghast, who was an associate of Nym, engaged and ultimately killed the Bridge Troll.
The video game Star Wars Galaxies featured the Bridge Troll. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was released in 2003 and created by Sony Online Entertainment, with LucasArts handling the publishing. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. The Bridge Troll's inclusion in the game was part of the updated "Nym's Theme Park," which was introduced through "Game Update 16," on March 23, 2010.
