Broadsword Online Games

Broadsword Online Games is a video game business that was established in 2014 by former employees from Mythic Entertainment, after Mythic Entertainment was shut down. Mirroring Mythic Entertainment's focus, Broadsword specialized in massively multiplayer online role-playing games. When the company was founded, it assumed control of the upkeep and future development of Dark Age of Camelot and Ultima Online, both of which were previously created by Mythic Entertainment and distributed by Electronic Arts.

In June of 2023, BioWare transferred the responsibility of development and future updates for Star Wars: The Old Republic to Broadsword Online Games, following nearly a dozen years of BioWare managing the title. The plan was for most of the Old Republic team at BioWare to transition to Broadsword to keep working on the game.
