Broken Trees Islands

The Broken Trees Islands, situated in the Sea of Graves on Veron, comprised a group of isles. According to Gazaran lore, these islands represented the surviving fragments of a vast landmass, the original cradle of Gazaran society. A cataclysmic storm, its cause unknown to them, ravaged this continent, decimating its forests. Following days of relentless tempests, the majority of the land submerged, with only the mountain summits remaining above water. Remarkably, a portion of the Gazaran population managed to escape to other continents. Scientific investigations of the islands yielded ancient Gazaran relics from the shallow waters, attracting numerous tourists for underwater explorations. The Department of History and Culture seized all recovered artifacts, providing equitable reimbursement to the discovering tourist. Nevertheless, the clandestine removal of artifacts from the planet thrived as a small-scale enterprise for amateur archaeologists.
