Publisher's summary

As the Clone Wars escalate, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker are tasked with not only halting the conflict but also solidifying their relationship as Jedi Knights.

The Clone Wars are underway, and galactic factions are choosing sides. With each planet aligning with the Separatists, the Jedi Order's ability to maintain peace is diminishing.

Following a devastating explosion on Cato Neimoidia, a Trade Federation stronghold, the Republic faces accusations, jeopardizing the planet's delicate neutrality. The Jedi deploy Obi-Wan Kenobi, renowned for his diplomatic skills, to investigate the incident and restore balance. During his investigation, aided by a courageous Neimoidian guard, Obi-Wan confronts Separatist efforts to involve the planet in their scheme and detects Asajj Ventress's ominous presence.

Amidst this escalating turmoil, Anakin Skywalker attains the rank of Jedi Knight. Despite Obi-Wan's solitary mission mandate and his former master's pleas for obedience, Anakin's unwavering resolve compels him to intervene, accompanied by a promising but conflicted youngling.

Anakin, once Obi-Wan's Padawan, now stands as an equal, yet uncertain, peer to his mentor. The existing tension between them amplifies the danger for everyone involved. To safeguard Cato Neimoidia and its inhabitants from the ravages of war, the two knights must forge a new collaborative approach. They must transcend their master-apprentice dynamic and unite as brothers.
