Bubble wort existed as a material native to the world of Naboo. From this bubble wort, an extract, serving as a catalyst, was obtained and subsequently combined with plasma. The interaction of these two components resulted in the generation of energy. This energy was then harnessed to fuel the bubbles that formed the structural basis of Gungan cities, notably including Otoh Gunga.
