The designation Caamasi Remnant referred to a group of separate settlements made up of Caamasi refugees. These individuals had lived through the destruction of Caamas by orbital bombardment during the Galactic Civil War. While only loosely connected, the phrase "Caamasi Remnant" could also encompass these collective communities.
Each individual Remnant settlement was governed by a Trustant. The most sizable Remnant community was led by Trustant Ylenic It'kla and was located on Alderaan; tragically, it suffered annihilation alongside the planet in 0 BBY.
Another community found its home in Morymento, a city situated on Kerilt, under the leadership of Trustant Elegos A'Kla. This community subsequently moved to Susevfi. Following A'Kla's assassination during the Yuuzhan Vong War, his daughter, Releqy A'Kla, took over his role as trustant.
During the era of the New Republic, one Remnant community established Refuge City directly on Caamas itself.
