Cakhmaim, a Noghri warrior from clan Eikh'mir, held the position of head of the honor guard for Leia Organa Solo. For more than three decades, starting with the Thrawn crisis and continuing through the Yuuzhan Vong War and the Swarm War, he acted as the primary protector for Leia and her family. His service, alongside Meewalh, ended tragically during the Second Galactic Civil War when they were killed. They were attacked by the Galactic Alliance Guard aboard the Star Destroyer Anakin Solo, acting under the orders of Jacen Solo, the very person Cakhmaim had once protected as an infant.
