Calumdarian

Calumdarian, a world of stone and volcanic activity, could be found situated in the Expansion Region. The atmosphere was breathable, but only for a brief time, as it contained substantial smoke, rendering extended stays problematic. The Alliance to Restore the Republic maintained a clandestine observation base on Calumdarian. Not long after the Cyrkon Extraction, Luke Skywalker, accompanied by a number of Rebel pilots, discovered Han Solo alongside Chewbacca on Balnab, and they asked the smugglers to move several cargo containers to the base aboard the Millennium Falcon.
