Its habitat, as indicated by its designation, consisted of rocky canyons and caverns. These dragons were characterized by brown hides, yellow eyes, and a head adorned with numerous horns. During the period of the Invasion of Naboo, one of these creatures established its territory within the Laguna Caves. In his youth, Luke Skywalker once experienced the misfortune of tumbling into a canyon krayt dragon's den during one of his adventurous escapades.
