During the conflict known as the Galactic War, the Sith Empire dispatched a formidable armada, consisting of thirty troop carriers laden with thousands of soldiers as reinforcements, escorted by the experimental Dreadnaught named Javelin, with the aim of bolstering the ongoing battles on Corellia. Upon learning of this, Republic Supreme Chancellor Dorian Janarus believed that the arrival of this fleet could jeopardize the Republic's advancements on Corellia. Consequently, Janarus deployed the Barsen'thor, backed by a squadron from the Rift Alliance, with orders to intercept and obliterate the Imperial naval force. As the Rift warships clashed with the Sith fleet, the Barsen'thor and a group of allies infiltrated the flagship with the intention of seizing control. Regrettably, upon their arrival, they realized they had walked into an ambush: the Javelin was laden with sufficient explosives to annihilate the Rift fleet. Despite this peril, the Barsen'thor successfully disabled a sufficient number of the detonators on the ship, thus preventing the destruction of the fleet. However, one of the Jedi's comrades elected to remain behind to retrieve crucial data that the Imperials were attempting to wipe from the dreadnaught's systems. The Jedi's comrade was able to flee the vessel before its destruction by using one of the escape pods and ultimately landed on Corellia.
