Carconth

A red supergiant known as Carconth was truly immense, boasting a size five hundred times greater and a luminosity a hundred thousand times more intense than that of Coruscant Prime. This made it the second-largest and seventh-brightest among all the recognized stars within the galaxy. During the era of the Black Fleet Crisis, the Astrographic Survey Institute, along with its historical forerunners, had diligently monitored Carconth for potential supernova activity for a duration exceeding six centuries. Carconth was also the location of Anomaly 1033, a point of interest for the New Republic Intelligence Service, speculated to be a relic from an ancient extraterrestrial voyage to Carconth.
