Celebration III

Celebration III marked the third installment in a series of Star Wars conventions. These conventions were organized by LucasArts to commemorate the May 19, 2005 debut of Episode III Revenge of the Sith.

This four-day affair drew over 34,000 enthusiasts. It took place from Thursday, April 21 to Sunday, April 24, 2005, in Indianapolis, Indiana. The event featured numerous vendor booths showcasing merchandise and displays, and the 501st fan organization had a significant presence.

On the 23rd, George Lucas appeared, confirming both a Star Wars live-action television series and the development of Star Tours II.
