Charky

Charky was a Trandoshan child of the male gender. He became an orphan as a result of the Clone Wars.

Biography

During the Clone Wars, Charky, a Trandoshan boy, was one of a group of ten orphaned children. They were all abducted from the planet of Abregado-rae. His speech was characterized by brevity. A Twi'lek woman by the name of Kuvuta Pindi intended to provide the pirate Dool Pundar with these younglings to be used as slaves. While temporarily stopped on Fondor, Pindi, pretending to be the blind caretaker of the orphans, tricked the Jedi Nuru Kungurama and swoop biker Gizz into transporting them to their meeting location on Foless. Aboard the Nu-class shuttle, Charky and the other young orphans were causing trouble, so Gizz put Charky inside a storage container, telling the others it was an airlock. Once they arrived on Foless, the Jedi and the orphans separated, but Gizz noticed that Pindi was not actually blind and began to pursue her. Charky noticed the swoop biker was following them. Kungurama caused the airbus to crash. Pindi then seized Charky to use him as a hostage, but the Trandoshan bit her arm, causing her to release the knife and run away. She was later killed, and Charky and the other orphans were adopted into new families.
