Chasin, part of the Core Worlds region, was a planet.
During both the Zsinj campaign and the Thrawn campaign, Chasin was governed by the Imperial forces. A Torpedo Sphere provided defense for the planet but met its end in the Battle of Chasin. The Javelin, a Vengeance-class dreadnought, collided with the sphere, resulting in its destruction during the time of the Imperial Mutiny.
When the Second Galactic Civil War occurred in 40 ABY, Chasin's governing body quickly allied with Corellia, offering early endorsement.
