The fifth installment of the Star Wars Roll Out animated short series is called "Chewie, the Porgs, and the Sea Monster - Chapter 2". It initially premiered on YouTube on September 6, 2019.
BB-8 and a Star Wars-themed ball take the lead in the opening sequence, followed by Rey, Maz Kanata, Finn, Captain Phasma, a pair of stormtroopers, Ben Solo, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and a trio of porgs.
The porgs, in search of their lost companion Chewie, stumble upon the fishing pole and trident that he had abandoned on the surface of Ahch-To. Realizing what must have happened, the porgs plunge into the ocean, equipped with Chewbacca's trident, to save the Wookiee. He has been trapped in a bubble that induces stasis by a monstrous creature, along with numerous other beings. Before the creature can devour Chewie, the porg wielding the trident punctures his bubble, awakening him. Subsequently, the porg endeavors to rouse all the other creatures held captive by the beast.
With its intended meal now dispersed, the Wookiee's captor becomes enraged at the porgs and reveals its immense, true form, ascending from the ocean floor to seize the birds and the Wookiee with its tentacles. They commence swimming away, but the monster gives chase. When Chewbacca begins to lag behind, the porgs assist him in reaching the surface.
Shortly after they ascend onto the rock, their pursuer also emerges, but there are now more porgs present to aid in repelling it. The monster employs its hypnotic powers to subdue the new combatants. Surveying their surroundings, Chewie devises a strategy. He retrieves his trident from the porg's beak, plunging back into the water and thrusting it into the specific type of fish that had instigated the entire predicament. Now understanding its erratic and violent reaction to being stabbed, Chewbacca cleverly exploits it to topple a spire onto the tentacled monster, which had been attempting to trap the porgs in a fresh stasis bubble. Startled by the falling rocks, the creature inadvertently lulls itself to sleep and collapses into the water, leaving the birds and the Wookiee unharmed.
Chewie and the porgs commemorate their triumph by roasting the very fish they had utilized in the battle. Once the meal is prepared, they all partake, chewing with delight.
