Din Djarin holds up a chit
A chit served as a scannable identification card. Din Djarin, the Mandalorian bounty hunter, utilized a chit for access to the Imperial Remnant safe house on Nevarro, a secure location where he received his commissioned assignment. Upon his return, he again used the chit to receive payment for services rendered.
After returning to Nevarro to collect the reward for his latest bounty, Din Djarin, more famously known as "the Mandalorian," received his payment at the cantina situated within the local town. The payment was provided by Greef Karga, an agent affiliated with the Bounty Hunters' Guild. Karga also offered Djarin his next bounty, an offer Djarin accepted because of the generous reward offered by the patrons. Following receipt of the chit, which granted access to the meeting, Djarin departed the cantina to rendezvous with the Client.
When Djarin came back to the Client with his target, Grogu, he once more used a chit to gain entry to the safe house. It was here that he discovered the Client had already been in contact with other hunters.
