The municipal building stood within the boundaries of Lonisa City, situated on the Outer Rim world of Valo. While the Nihil buccaneers were seizing the planet, Nihil Commanding Officer Vark Tarpalin maintained a workspace, an executive suite, inside the building.
This city hall was featured in Escape from Valo, a young adult book from 2024 penned collaboratively by Daniel José Older and Alyssa Wong. It was a component of the Star Wars: The High Republic initiative's Phase III.
