The Yavin system Defense Force, alternatively referred to as the Civilian Defense Force, served as a protective entity with the responsibility of safeguarding the Yavin system. Following the events of the Battle of Endor, Lieutenant Shara Bey concluded her service with the Alliance to Restore the Republic and chose to settle on Yavin 4 with her family. As a member of the civilian defense, she piloted her former Alliance RZ-1 A-wing interceptor.
