Cloak Force was a squadron under the banner of the Galactic Empire, comprised of both TIE/LN starfighters and mole miners obtained through theft. During 9 ABY, this group was secretly transported inside the _Nartissteu's cloaked cargo area and deployed into the Sluis system. Their tactic involved utilizing the mole miners to bore into the hulls of various New Republic vessels, allowing teams of stormtroopers and spacetroopers to board and briefly seize control.
During the Battle of Sluis Van, Republic and Sluissi forces eliminated eight of the mole miners. Following Lando Calrissian's provision of override codes, the remaining forty-three were either rendered inoperable or abandoned for him to recover, as he directed them to bore completely through the ships they were latched onto. While some of the TIEs were also destroyed, the majority, along with their commander, Cloak Leader, fell back to the Chimaera.
