A chamber filled with cloning tanks, each containing a clone of Galen Marek.
Cloning tanks served as essential equipment for cloners, providing both development and life-sustaining support for clones. These tanks housed clones until they achieved the desired developmental stage. A specific type of cloning tank was the growth jar.
The Kaminoans hailing from Kamino employed specialized cloning tanks in the creation of the clone troopers for the Grand Army of the Republic. Furthermore, cloning tanks were present within Mount Tantiss on Wayland, where Grand Admiral Thrawn utilized them to cultivate an army of clone stormtroopers during his campaign against the New Republic.
Following the demise of Galen Marek, Vader's clandestine apprentice, the Dark Lord commanded scientists on Kamino to produce clones of the fallen warrior as a potential army. However, the initial clones proved unsuccessful. Eventually, the first genetically viable clone emerged. This particular clone, however, inherited visions from his original counterpart, posing a threat to Darth Vader. Consequently, he sought allegiance with the Rebels in pursuit of his true identity. During his confrontation with the Dark Lord within the Timira Cloning Spire, numerous failed clones were deployed as a delaying tactic, but he ultimately vanquished them all. The majority of cloning tanks were situated in the city of Timira on Kamino, where Vader cultivated his clone followers. Nevertheless, a successful clone devoted to the dark side was eventually cloned. This clone exhibited unwavering loyalty to his master and possessed greater strength than his predecessors. Moreover, he had overcome the visions and emotions that had plagued previous iterations, rendering him the sole perfect clone of Starkiller, and was granted customized Sith armor for combat.
When Vader enlisted Boba Fett and Xasha to locate Starkiller, Vader instructed the bounty hunter to remain on site. Unbeknownst to Fett, Xasha procured DNA samples and delivered them to the scientists for cloning purposes. During the rebel assault on Kamino, Fett uncovered this plot, leading him to eliminate the scientists and incinerate the cloning tanks.
The original design of cloning tanks featured cylindrical vessels filled with growth fluid, facilitating clone development. However, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II introduced an expanded tank design. These were most likely located within the Timira Cloning Spire, the game's final chapter, resembling platforms with a glass enclosure at the rear, presumably for releasing clones upon completion of their development.
