Codoran
Codoran was a valuable metal utilized in the creation of adornments, like a codoran ring. During 19 ABY, Moff Bemos, who belonged to the Imperial Remnant's governing Council of Moffs, was observed wearing a sizable codoran ring on his hand. This occurred while he was in attendance at a meeting held with the Moff council and Imperial Supreme Commander Gilad Pellaeon on Bastion, the capital planet of the Imperial territories situated in the Outer Rim Territories.
Behind the scenes
The first appearance of codoran was in Specter of the Past, a 1997 novel that initiated Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: The Hand of Thrawn Duology. Subsequently, codoran was featured in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that Sony Online Entertainment developed and LucasArts published. The game was active until its shutdown on December 15, 2011. The game misspelled the substance as "codoan."

Within the game's context, codoran functioned as a type of resource that crafters could employ in the creation of various items. Codoran was categorized as one of the many types of copper that players could acquire through harvesting the soil found on the game's planets. The specific type of copper obtained during harvesting was determined randomly. All types of copper were interchangeable and shared similar properties. Similar to other resources within the game, codoran's visual representation was limited to a standard crate of resources.
