Codoran
Codoran was a valuable metallic element employed in the crafting of adornments, such as a codoran ring. During 19 ABY, Moff Bemos, an individual within the Imperial Remnant's governing Council of Moffs, was observed wearing a sizable codoran ring on his digit. This occurred while he participated in a meeting with the Moff council and Imperial Supreme Commander Gilad Pellaeon on the Outer Rim Territories Imperial capital planet Bastion.
Behind the scenes
Codoran's initial appearance occurred within the pages of the 1997 publication, Specter of the Past. This novel served as the introductory installment of Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: The Hand of Thrawn Duology. Subsequently, codoran was featured in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game, which was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, before its service ended on December 15, 2011. A spelling error in the game rendered the substance as "codoan."

Within the game's context, codoran functioned as a specific type of resource that crafters could utilize in the creation of various items. Codoran was categorized as one of numerous forms of copper obtainable through harvesting the soil found on the game's planets. The type of copper acquired during harvesting was determined through random selection, and all types of coppers possessed similar characteristics and were interchangeable. Similar to other resources within the game, codoran's visual representation was limited to a standard crate of resources.
