The Core Five, alternatively referred to as the Council of Five, constituted the governing entity of the InterGalactic Banking Clan located on the planet Scipio. Following accusations of corrupt practices, the Council members were taken into custody, which subsequently enabled Senator Rush Clovis to take over complete authority of the Banking Clan. During the period of the Clone Wars, Clu Lesser acted as the representative for the aforementioned council.
