Characteristics

These glossy, black vessels, which the New Republic categorized similarly to a corvette, possessed an approximate pyramid shape, measuring about 315 meters along each side.

Its armaments consisted of twenty Yaret-Kors in conjunction with a number of dovin basals. These corvette-like ships were used to bolster coralskipper squadrons, offering protection from smaller capital ships during both combat situations and retreats.

This vessel, despite its capacity for a crew of 110, 225 warriors, and 510 metric tons of supplies, did not transport any coralskippers. Furthermore, the ship's operational capacity was restricted to patrol and pursuit tasks when not backing coralskippers, due to the limited power of its dovin basals to generate an interdiction field.

It should be noted that the I'Friil Ma-Nat was not the standard size for all Yuuzhan Vong corvette analogs. An example of a smaller vessel is the Exquisite Death, which measured only 122 meters in length and had a crew of about ninety-eight individuals.
