Biography

Switch

Private Switch, categorized as a "soft-shell," received training focused on technical skills rather than direct combat roles. During the Battle of Juma 9, he demonstrated both his ingenuity and courage. When the CIS forces, under the command of Kul Teska, launched an assault on the station Juma 9, Switch proved to be an invaluable asset to Jedi Generals Plo Koon and Obi-Wan Kenobi. He successfully restored power to the station's vital systems, enabling the clones and the Jedi to mount a defense against the attack. Despite being significantly outnumbered by the CIS forces, the Republic was eventually compelled to withdraw. As the station faced imminent destruction, the Jedi issued orders for all clone troopers to evacuate. Switch, along with clone trooper commander Cody, assisted numerous comrades in boarding escape pods, ultimately securing the last pod for themselves. However, the pod sustained damage, necessitating manual activation. In an act of self-sacrifice, Switch propelled Cody into the pod and ejected it from the exterior, moments before a massive explosion rocked the station.

Although severely damaged, the station remained intact. Switch survived, finding himself stranded and isolated with no means of communication. Some time later, Republic reinforcements arrived. Jedi Generals Mace Windu and Kit Fisto, accompanied by Commander CC-6454, initially sought to locate Koon and Kenobi, but instead, they intercepted Switch's distress call. Recognizing that Switch was best positioned to find the missing Jedi Masters, Windu and Fisto prioritized reaching his location. They then guided Switch through perilous conditions to the main data center, where he pinpointed the room where Koon and Kenobi were trapped. Following the elimination of the last remaining battle droids, Switch attended a meeting involving nine Jedi, with five participating via hologram. During this meeting, he transmitted crucial recordings, including a conversation between Kul Teska and Count Dooku, as well as a plea for assistance from Senator Padmé Amidala originating from Behpour.
