Crakull, a planet found in the Unknown Regions, resided in the Crakull system. It served as the native world for the Croke species, a sentient group. These Croke were small in stature, possessed numerous legs, and could naturally conceal their true forms using illusions.
The Croke poet Asenec first came into existence on Crakull in 593 BBY, whereas Rokur Gepta, another Croke, was born there no later than twenty millennia prior to 2 BBY (in standard year reckoning). The Croke eventually established colonies on other planets, forming the Croke Reach, with Explume Minor among these worlds.
Daniel Wallace initially referenced Crakull in his 2002 publication, The New Essential Guide to Characters. Subsequently, The Essential Atlas, a 2009 sourcebook, located the Crakull system, and consequently Crakull itself, within grid coordinate G-10.
