Despite Crollick's overall command of the military contingent on N'zoth, Commander Jian Paret held the highest military rank when the evacuation order was given; thus, Commander Paret relocated to the Intimidator to oversee the withdrawal.
Nevertheless, while the evacuation was in progress, Yevethan rebels under the leadership of Nil Spaar captured the Intimidator. Consequently, as Crollick's shuttle guided a group of transports from the planet's surface toward the ship's hangar bays, the Yevetha deployed the Super Star Destroyer's weaponry against them, resulting in the annihilation of all 20,000 Imperial soldiers and civilian administrators stationed on N'zoth.
