Koros Spaceworks designed and produced the CX-133 in large quantities as an inexpensive and lightweight fighter. Due to its unstable fuel and ammunition storage, this fighter was capable of inflicting significant harm on targets, especially when employing ramming maneuvers in conjunction with swarm strategies.
Supremacy-class attack ships frequently transported these fighters. During the Battle of Koros Major, CX-133 fighters executed suicide attacks targeting vessels of the Republic Navy, resulting in substantial damage to the Reliance I, a command ship. During the Second Battle of Empress Teta, they were deployed to defend Koros Major from an Onderon warbeast transport and four Jedi one-man fighters that were attacking the Krath's Iron Citadel in an attempt to free Ulic Qel-Droma. Furthermore, during the Battle of Foerost, they participated in the assault on the Foerost Shipyards.
