The DA worker droid was a bipedal labor droid design, characterized by its flat, disc-shaped head and elongated arms that terminated in sizable hands. These droids were sometimes seen with white plating and had both red and yellow sensors. In 13 BBY, one of these droids was operating in Coronet Spaceport on the planet Corellia. This particular droid, carrying a large cylindrical object on its back, was positioned near an elevated duty station staffed by Imperials when the criminals Han and Qi'ra walked into the spaceport. Following Qi'ra's abduction by the White Worms gang, the droid was observed standing near a queue in the spaceport, turning to observe her being forcibly taken away.
The DA worker droid made its debut in the 2018 film Solo: A Star Wars Story, part of the Anthology Series. While the droid was not explicitly named within the film itself, it was later identified in the "Every Droid in Star Wars" video, which was uploaded to StarWarsKids.com in 2019.
