Dalia, situated on the world of Dalicron-4, was a modest village on the planet. Functioning as the sole population center on Dalicron-4, it featured the planet's singular landing area, a sizable open space capable of accommodating a maximum of eight light freighters. With a population hovering around 100 residents, it was quite small. The village provided several amenities, such as a tavern, a lumber mill, a general store, and a welcome center. Within the village, the Ithorian physician Aloor maintained an office, and the Rodian Meebo conducted a hunting enterprise from a structure located in the township's northwest sector.
Approximately 800 years prior to the Galactic Civil War, Dalia was established by colonists originating from the Inner Rim. These individuals sought refuge from the frenetic pace of life within the Galactic Republic, and they honored their leader by naming the settlement after Dalia. During the year 3 ABY, operatives from the Alliance to Restore the Republic journeyed to Dalia with the purpose of locating Caeleb, known as the "Child of Light."
