Daltarra, located within the Pakuuni sector of the Outer Rim Territories, was a planet.
During the initial stages of the Galactic Civil War, this planet functioned as a surveillance station for the Rebel Alliance, where they kept watch on the movements of the Imperial fleet. Before the Battle of Yavin, Lord Darth Vader and an Imperial team of Storm commandos uncovered and destroyed the Rebel presence on the planet.
The Rebellion Era Sourcebook from 2001 marked the initial appearance of Daltarra. The PC game Star Wars: Rebellion featured a similar name, "Daltar" in 1998, which is actually a typographical error; it should have been "Datar" as seen in the 1995 publication Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina.
