Danah Jor was a Jedi Knight of the male persuasion, belonging to the Human species, who fought for both the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic during the Cold War. He opposed the resurgent Sith Empire during this time. In the year 3643 BBY, Jor journeyed to the shattered remains of Taris with the intention of fighting Force-sensitive nekghouls. However, he instead found that these nekghouls were receiving instruction in the Force from the holocron of the Jedi Master known as Bay-Yon Siu. Deceived, Siu commanded the nekghouls to take Jor prisoner, and he was held captive until a hero of the Republic arrived and activated the holocron. Jor pleaded with the Republic individual to eliminate the nekghouls using a radiation spike, while the holocron's Gatekeeper advocated for allowing them to remain and be trained in the ways of the Force. Ultimately, Danah Jor was released from his imprisonment and he and his liberator left the ruins of the Temple.
