The Dank Graks were a criminal organization that operated around 382 BBY. This group was primarily composed of individuals cast out from various dark side of the Force cults. They were under the command of Arkik Von, a force-sensitive Geonosian, and their objective was to seize control of the planet Takodana by eliminating both the Jedi presence and the pirate queen known as Maz Kanata.
The genesis of the Dank Graks occurred within the Star Wars: The High Republic initiative. Their initial unveiling took place at Celebration Anaheim on May 26, 2022, where concept art created by Daniel José Older was presented during a panel discussion.
