However, it's important to note that the background information presented in the endnotes was essentially a preliminary version, differing significantly from the finalized Tales of the Jedi comics.

Checklists within the tenth and eleventh editions of Star Wars comics, published by Dark Horse International's, mentioned a "Dark Empire Technical Readout" feature by Veitch and Kennedy, advertised as a "First time publication anywhere in the Galaxy!" back in 1993. Initially, it was intended to focus on bounty hunters, but this content was never released with issue 10, which ultimately became the final issue of the series due to its cancellation.
