Star Wars (Dark Horse International)

Star Wars, marketed as Star Wars featuring Indiana Jones on its cover, was a monthly comic book series that had a brief run in the United Kingdom during the early 1990s.

This periodical, initially launched in September 1992 (though the cover of its debut issue displayed October 1992) by Dark Horse International, the international branch of Dark Horse Comics, consisted of reprinted material from the parent company's Star Wars and Indiana Jones comic book titles.

Publication of the series was unexpectedly halted with the release of its tenth issue in June 1993. At that time, it had just begun to reprint the initial installments of Ulic Qel-Droma and the Beast Wars of Onderon from Tales of the Jedi and Indiana Jones: Thunder in the Orient.

According to the Dark Horse International checklist, found at the end of the tenth issue, Star Wars 11 was intended to continue those story arcs and also commence reprinting The Serpent Masters. The checklist also mentioned a "Dark Empire Technical Readout" feature by Tom Veitch and Cam Kennedy, possibly referring to the Dark Empire endnotes, which had been advertised for issue 10 but was ultimately omitted.
