Star Wars: Dark Empire II, a compilation of all six comic book issues from the Star Wars: Dark Empire II comic series, was released by Dark Horse Comics on September 5, 1995. An introduction was penned by Ralph McQuarrie. A limited edition hardcover version was subsequently published on March 12, 1996. A second edition followed in 2006, incorporating Star Wars: Empire's End.
