The Darklight, a warship of the Imperious-class Star Destroyer type, fought for Darth Krayt's Sith Empire throughout the Second Imperial Civil War.
The Darklight received orders originating from Coruscant to travel to Falleen and bombard the inhabitants until they yielded to the Sith Imperial's will. However, the Imperial ship became the target of an assault led by Rogue Squadron and the Mynock. The smuggler ship managed to bypass the Star Destroyer's protective systems, deploying two Jedi, Cade Skywalker and his former mentor [Wolf Sazen],/article/wolf_sazen) inside one of the ship's hangars before its departure. These two infiltrated the ship's reactor core, planted explosive devices, and then returned to the hangar to commandeer a pair of Predator-class starfighters. The ship was destroyed in an explosion, its flaming remains crashing onto a mountain on the planet's surface.
Cade Skywalker's efforts were later recognized and rewarded by Vedo Anjiliac Atirue, a member of the Hutt Grand Council.
