During the Galactic Civil War period, the Darkwalkers utilized the Darkwalker Bunker, a subterranean installation situated not far to the west of the Gungan Sacred Place on Naboo, a world found in the Mid Rim. After the Battle of Yavin which occurred in 0 BBY, Boss Rugor Nass dispatched a spacer to this bunker with the mission of recovering a Gungan relic that the Darkwalkers had pilfered. Vran Tristen, the leader, and a number of Darkwalkers met their death.
The 2003 Star Wars Galaxies video game featured the Darkwalker Bunker as a location. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. The "Legacy Quest" added the Darkwalker Bunker to the game with the release of "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.
