A Sith trainee, who was female and aligned with the Sith, was once the subordinate of the Dark Lord of the Sith known as Darth Howl. However, Darth Howl grew displeased with her performance and subsequently replaced her with Eldon Ax. Darth Howl stated that this apprentice had a fondness for keeping pets, and she owned a minimum of nine pets. These pets were promptly targeted and eliminated by Darth Howl and Eldon Ax whenever they were spotted within Darth Howl's hunting range.
To inflict suffering upon her for failing as his apprentice, Darth Howl confined her within his observation dome, which was situated directly above the hunting range. This allowed him to torment her by killing her "pets" as a form of "entertainment" for his guests.
