Darth Vader was a Human of the male variety who held the position of General for the New Galactic Empire's armed forces. This esteemed officer was distinguished by extensive facial scars and a cybernetic replacement for his left eye, which glowed with an intense red color.
General Vader, in collaboration with Governor Crispin Hoedaack and their confederate Vantos Coll from the Supreme Tribunal, conspired to depose Emperor Cos Dashit, with the Aquilaean campaign's conclusion serving as the trigger for their actions. In addition to his authority over the Imperial Space Force and the Space Fortress, a formidable battle station, he was supposedly given unrestricted permission to deploy the Knights of the Sith in order to neutralize any Jedi-Bendu participants. Believing that General Luke Skywalker had lived through the destruction of the rebel base, General Vader charged Prince Valorum with finding him, granting the Knight of Sith complete access to Imperial assets for this mission.
In the initial 1974 script for Star Wars by George Lucas, the character Darth Vader made an appearance. Differing from subsequent versions of the cyborg commander, he was not connected to the primary hero, nor did he wield the Force-sensitive abilities, even though he did have some authority over the Knights of Sith.
