A lightsaber with a red blade, once the property of Darth Zash, a Sith Lord, saw action throughout the Great Galactic War period, as well as the Cold War era. This weapon was wielded by Zash as a Sith apprentice, but she eventually replaced it with a saber that projected a purple beam. After taking on her own apprentice, Zash gifted her former lightsaber to the young Sith Inquisitor.
