The initial reference to the Daystar Casino appeared in the 2014 children's novel Ezra's Gamble, penned by Ryder Windham. Subsequently, the casino received another mention within an entry from Jet Kordo's diary in the 2024 Ubisoft video game titled Star Wars Outlaws.
