Debnoli was a skilled marksman often seen at Chalmun's Cantina located in Mos Eisley. His motivation stemmed from a desire to get even with the Galactic Empire after they seized his spacecraft. Occasionally, Debnoli partnered with Bron Burs, an ex-commando originating from the world of Nentan.
During the year 0 BBY, Gela Yeens, a smuggler also employed by Jabba Desilijic Tiure as a collector of debts, was actively trying to locate him. Debnoli happened to be inside the Mos Eisley cantina at the moment Greedo met his end at the hands of Han Solo.
The initial appearance of Debnoli was as an extra Cantina customer in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. Tom Spina has stated that the character was played by George Oliver, though he was uncredited.
