Gorg deep-fries, also referred to as deep fried gorg, represented a fried food variant consisting of gorg meat; this item was available on the arid planet Tatooine, most prominently at the Mos Espa Market. Moreover, its sale and promotion occurred within the Grand Arena throughout the Hunters of the Outer Rim sporting competition. At The Restraining Bolt, a restaurant situated on the lower floor of the Mos Espa Waystation (one of the battle locations within the Grand Arena located on Vespaara), this particular meat dish carried a cost of three credits according to the menu.
Behind the scenes
Within the non-canon 2022 video game LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the presence of deep-fried gorg is acknowledged through an announcement. This announcement, audible across any of the capital ships that have been seized by the player, reveals that the ship's mess hall will feature the dish as a special offering to commemorate the ship's newly appointed commander.
