Deep Pockets was an underwater mining operation situated on Varn and under the ownership of Lando Calrissian. This venture took place in 19 ABY. After the mining endeavor commenced, Calrissian expanded the complex by incorporating a casino and an observation area. This expansion was funded by Tendra Risant's family, although they held reservations about the project. The casino, when operating at its peak, generated enough income to cover all the expenses of the entire mining operation. Many patrons even enjoyed spending money to watch Lando's miners performing their duties. Nevertheless, the operation was negatively impacted by frequent pirate attacks on Varn.
The complex included the Tralus Room and was under the command of Donnerwin.
