Delantine existed as a planetary body within the confines of the Delantine system. To increase Rebel support, the Alliance dispatched Granit to this world. Following the Battle of Yavin, the Alliance selected Trux Zissu to serve as the Governor of Delantine. Trux, accompanied by his son Stuart Zissu, along with C-3PO, 4B-X, and R2-D2, journeyed from Yavin 4 to the Delantine system aboard the Timespan; however, upon arrival, an Imperial warship crippled their vessel. Trux sacrificed himself to the Imperials, affording Stuart the opportunity to flee to the surface of Da'nor via Escape Pod 4 alongside the droids. Despite Granit's success in evacuating the Rebels, the Galactic Empire seized control of the planet.
