Demitri Firewatcher

Demitri Firewatcher, a male Human, made his home on Naboo during the era of the Galactic Civil War. Following the events of the Battle of Yavin, pirates abducted Firewatcher's master, taking him to their hidden bunker situated within the Gallo Mountains. Remaining in Keren, Firewatcher sought assistance in rescuing his master, eventually encountering a spacer willing to risk a journey to the pirate's stronghold for a rescue attempt. Demitri shared rumors of hidden treasures at the location. He provided the spacer with the approximate coordinates of the pirate bunker, and then awaited the spacer's return.

Behind the scenes

In the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, Demitri Firewatcher existed as a non-player character. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was created by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. The "Publish 1" update, released on August 3, 2003, introduced Demitri Firewatcher into the game.

Firewatcher was not associated with any specific quest. He functioned as one of the Herald NPCs added to guide players toward dungeons and other noteworthy locations. When interacting with Firewatcher, players could choose to either assist him or refuse his request. If the player chose to go to the pirate bunker, the player's datapad was updated with a new waypoint, and the player could choose to explore the location. No prisoner within the bunker could be identified as Firewatcher's master. Even if the player freed the prisoners after defeating the pirates, Firewatcher's dialogue remained unchanged.
