Denimoor held the rank of captain aboard the Venator-class Star Destroyer known as the Tenacious during the initial period of the Galactic Empire. Before this, he was under the command of then-Jedi General K'Kruhk during the Clone Wars' Siege of Saleucami.
Commander Teron got in touch with Denimoor and his vessel, requesting that he deviate from his assigned mission and steer the Tenacious towards Arkinnea, as he believed Imperial citizens were at risk. Denimoor hesitated to leave his station without providing evidence to their superiors. However, Teron implied that Jedi, specifically K'Kruhk, were present on the planet, which led Denimoor to immediately instruct his crew to alter their course for Arkinnea.
When they arrived, Denimoor found Teron's suspicions to be accurate, discovering a mass grave containing refugees who had been brutally murdered by the Arkinnea Militia. Subsequently, the Imperial officers apprehended militia Captain Relik and his subordinates for committing mass murder. Afterward, Teron refused to go back to the Tenacious, stating that he wished to await the arrival of the investigation team. However, Denimoor correctly assumed that Teron suspected K'Kruhk was in the vicinity and wanted to have a private conversation.
After going back to the Tenacious, Denimoor was contacted via holocall by Lieutenant Gregg, who questioned whether any Jedi were connected to the Arkinnea event. Denimoor nonchalantly refuted the presence of Jedi on Arkinnea, and Gregg seemed to accept his response.
